In Baltimore, Joe Metheny gets broken up with, and his son gets put into the foster care system. According to Joe, this is the fuel for the killing spree he went on, but is that really true? And how many people did he actually kill? Plus, find out why Joe is sometimes known as “the cannibal”.
Donna’s story starts at 49:14 – she takes us to Octagon Hall near Franklin, Kentucky. Built by Andrew Jackson Caldwell in 1847, Octagon Hall is not your average house, for one thing, as the name suggests, the two-story house is built with eight sides. The house acted as a hospital for both sides during the Civil War, and the death and trauma in the house can still be felt there today.
